09/02/2010
Jeremy Rwakaara, the author of the book of musical survival 'Artist Management Manual' is the maker of the event 'Artist Management Conference 2010' (AMCON2010). The convention promises to be as the major meeting of musical artists and managers, and appears as "the first and unique conference related to the musical industry on a large scale". It will be celebrated on the 14th and 15th of October, 2010 in New York.
The aim of this musical convention is to offer a space to artists and bands without representation where they will be with producers, managers and representatives of the industry. The new ones will be able to appear and make them known to the professionals of the industry whereas they will be looking for new talents. In addition, the bands without managers will receive formation in management in order that they could dominate their career if they continue without representative.
AMCON 2010 will be two days of presentations, ideas and analysis with the current importance of the musical industry as the protagonist. As the organization explains, it is a great occasion "to accede to opportunities, to discover ways of business, to do contacts, and to make agreements possible". Definitively, it’s a "kit" of didactic aid to survive in the musical sector attending to the difficult current situation of the musical industry.
